The Versatility of Jim Sturgess
Jim Sturgess was born in London on 1979. He is a former member of the National Youth Music Theater. He studied at the renowned School of Media Music and Performance at the University of Salford. His first major acting role was in 1994 in; The Browning Version where he played the character of ‘Bryant’. He later proceeded to make his career primarily with television shows and radio series. He is perhaps most famous for his role in the famous film Across the Universe where he plays the role of ‘Jude Feeny’.

In the new movie which is about to be released, called 21, Jim Sturgess plays the role of Ben Campbell. The movie 21 relates the tale of six MIT students who decide to learn the art of card counting and after honing their mathematical skills they go out to take on Las Vegas. The movie is based on the famous best selling book Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich. Although Ben Mezrich has criticized the film for taking on white American actors rather than Asian Americans who composed the original MIT blackjack team.
